Duo Sprint Relay
We will start de Drenthe/Friesland 2 Days 2019 with a Duo Sprint Relay in the small centre of Appelscha and amusement parc Duinen Zathe. To make it challenging we will do it by night and also the amusement parc will be dark. It will be exciting and challenging for sure. Don’t forget your head lamp because you will need it. We will start from ‘De Boerestreek’ in front of the remarable building of our catering partner De Jongens van Outdoor.
Program (timings to be confirmed)
17:00 competition centre in the arena at the ‘Boerestreek’ in Appelscha open
19:00 briefing in the arena by the race leader
19:20 start runners to the startline
19:30 Mass start
(if there are a lot of entries we might start the different classes seperately with a small interval)
20:00 (approx.) finish of the 1st team
21:00 Prize giving
Classes
Each team consists of 2 runners and 1 man and 1 woman!
1- Open: Man and woman all ages. Only one of the runners may be M/W21. (so not a M21 and W21 in onde team!)
2- Youngster: A man or woman up to (incl.) 16 years (M-/W-16) and a Man or Woman of all ages.
3- Master: a M60+ or W50+ and a M-18+ or W-18+.
Entry:
De entry fee per team is €10,-. We kindly ask you to pay cash in the Competition Centre on the competition day.
You can enter for the Duo Sprint Relay on Orienteering Online. Per team only one of the runners enters on Orienteering Online. Please fill in all the information like class, name of the 2nd runner, year of birth of the 2nd runner etc.
Can’t find a team member, just enter yourself and tell us you’re looking for a team mate. We will try to match you with another single runner.
Entry is open till 20th of October 2019 (midnight)!
Additional information
Per team you will run with 1 SI-card wich will be the relay stick.
The “Jongens van Outdoor” will take care of some bites and drinks before, during and after the Duo Sprint Relay (off course you have to pay for this yourself).
